History: The Peppers finished in 5th place in 1915, the final year of the Federal League. They were led, however, by pitcher Big Ed Reulbach, who posted a 21-10 record for the Peps. Reulbach came to Newark after starring for the Chicago Cubs in the early part of the century, winning 24 games in 1908 to lead the Cubs to their last World Series title for over 100 years.
