History: After the Sugar Kings won the International League in 1959, Havana hosted the Minneapolis Millers in the Junior World Series, with Fidel Castro and other revolutionaries in attendance at Gran Stadium. However, the following year, increasing tensions led to the franchise being plucked from Havana mid-season and transferred to Jersey City. With no time to order new uniforms, a piece of cloth embroidered with "Jersey City" was simply sewn over the "Cubanos" lettering on this shirt.
