History: In 1945, the Cleveland Buckeyes beat the Homestead Grays of the Negro National League in four straight games to win the Negro World Series. The club was skippered by player-manager Quincy Trouppe, who is generally recognized as one of the greatest catchers of all time. In 1952, at the age of 39, Trouppe appeared in six games for the Cleveland Indians, becoming one of the oldest rookies in Major League history.

The jersey is well made and looks great. It took a long time for the order to be processed because materials needed to be ordered. Otherwise, the service was good and the customer service reps have been quick to respond to email inquiries.

I just love this jersey. Get props whenever I wear it.
