Baltimore Elite Giants 1949 Road Jersey
History: The 1949 Elite Giants were led by a 20-year-old infielder named Jim Gilliam. After three straight All Star seasons in Baltimore by Gilliam, he was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers, where he won the 1953 National League Rookie of the Year. As the Dodgers’ leadoff hitter for most of the 1950s, Gilliam won four World Series titles, made two All Star Game appearances, and saw his number 19 jersey later retired by the club.

I just received this jersey and am very impressed (which is what I expected to be). Photos, of course, can't reflect the three-dimensionality of the stitching but this is one of the features that sets this jersey apart. The jersey really feels as if a human being put it all together :-)
The pictures on the website are fine, but cannot do justice to how fabulous these jerseys look "in person." The cloth feels so great; the colors are so vivid - the workmanship is so perfect. I wish it were possible for me to thank each and every one who had a hand in making this terrific jersey for me. It feels great. It looks even better.
Over the top...thanks so much for all you did for us..! made our Christmas so very special.
