PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE
HISTORY The man who would become known as "Joltin' Joe" joined the Seals as a shortstop after older brother Vince got him a tryout. In his first full season with the club, Joe (#10) hit .340 and had a 61-game hitting streak - five games better than the famous streak with the Yankees eight years later.
