Polo Grounds Diagram Clubhouse Shirt
History: The Polo Grounds, in Upper Manhattan, was home to baseball, professional and college football, soccer, boxing, and even a circus. (One sport that was never played there was polo). The Yankees were a tenant of the Giants before building their own state of the art palace right across the Harlem River. Negro league baseball flourished there when the New York Cubans called the Polo Grounds home. After both the baseball and football Giants left, the park saw new life as home of the expansion Mets and the AFL's fledgling New York Titans (later Jets).
