New York Cubans 1948 Home Jersey

New York Cubans 1948 Home Jersey

NEGRO NATIONAL LEAGUE

HISTORY

This jersey was worn by the great Cuban-born Orestes "Minnie" Minoso (#10) - who like his hero Martin Dihigo, could play any position on the diamond. Minoso eventually broke into the Majors after integration, and became baseball's only six-decade player with a single plate appearance for St. Paul in 1993 at the age of 70.
