Montreal Royals History

The Royals were the Dodgers' top farm club for years and many future Dodgers stars played in Montreal. In 1946 Jackie Robinson joined the Royals and broke the color barrier in professional baseball. before beginning his Hall-of Fame career with the Dodgers the following year.
