HISTORY
In 1950 Mickey Mantle led the league in runs scored, hits and batting average, but Butch Neiman of the Topeka Owls was the league leader in home rums and RBIs. Manager Harry Croft guided the Miners to the league pennant, but they lost in the first round of the playoffs.
