Homestead Grays History

One of the greatest black clubs of all time the Grays were based in Pittsburgh but also played home games in Washington DC's Griffith Stadium. Players included powerful Josh Gibson known as the "black Babe Ruth" and Buck Leonard the best first baseman ever to play in the Negro Leagues.
