Harlem Globetrotters 1946 Home Jersey

Harlem Globetrotters 1946 Home Jersey

INDEPENDENT NEGRO LEAGUES

HISTORY

Promoter Abe Saperstein wanted a traveling baseball club to complement his famous basketball team. The Globetrotters metamorphosed into the Seattle Steelhead of the short-lived West Coast Baseball Association. When the league folded in mid-season the team again became the Globetrotters and barnstormed for the next three years.
