Chicago Whales 1915 Home Jersey
FEDERAL LEAGUE
HISTORY
The name "Whales" was actually the second-most popular selected by fans in 1915's naming contest, but Charles Weeghman did not want to call his ballclub the Chicago Chickens. The Whales won the second and last Federal League pennant by just one precentage point over the Kansas City Packers.
