HISTORY

The Eagles played for only the 1935 season in the Negro National League finishing in the second division. The next year Abe Manley bought the Eagles and the ailing Newark Dodgers and consolidated them into a single franchise the Newark Eagles. The Brooklyn Eagles cap had an emblem that was oddly similar to the famous interlocking New York Yankees NY.
