This South Dakota city's two stints in organized ball were from 1920-1923 in the Dakota League and 1947-1971 in the Northern League. Aberdeen was a Baltimore Oriole affiliate for years Earl Weaver managed there and Jim Palmer pitched for the Pheasants in 1964.
