HISTORY
The 1953 Sox won the Amerrican Association title with a 90-64 record. Their offensive leaders were Sam Jethroe a former National League Rookie-of-the Year and Wally Post. Their pitching ace Gene Conley won the pitching Triple Crown leading the league in wins strikeouts and ERA.
